THE BIG EASY to the Western Caribbean Roundtrip, Jamaica, Cozumel, Georgetown Grand Cayman – all in 7 days

Whether its for a great Valentine Day present or just a relaxing getaway this cruise has just enough down time for everyone.  Three cruise days plus and three ports in one week.  You will have more than enough time to shop in all three ports of call since you will have 9 hours in each. You can choose from exploring the local sites and culture or something more adventurous. Depending on which shore excursion you choose, you can go zip-cording, horseback riding, swimming with dolphins or stingrays among many more activities.

This cruise operates in both directions.  Although each start from and ends at “THE BIG EASY” the cruise itself varies, one week it will go to Cozumel first, then Georgetown Grand Cayman, then to Jamaica before returning to New Orleans.  The next week it will start with Jamaica and have Cozumel as the last port to visit.  Hey, three countries in three days - sounds great.

The cruises all depart on Sundays at approximately 4:30pm and return to disembark on Sunday mornings.

TOO BIG.  Are ship is the Voyager of the Seas, it was the ship that started the post Panama Class of ships.  (Those that are too big for the Pamana Canal.)  These were the first cruise ships built that were “Post Panama” in size.  In other words it is too big to go through the Panama Canal.  The ship is BIG, at over 1000 feet long, 15 stories high and over 155 feet wide, it really is a city unto itself.  View the clip here to see just some of the features that make up this great ship.

PORTS OF CALL

Cayman Islands: These are still British Protectorate BUT they are self governing. Yes this is where all the “bad people” hide their money.  Anyway, Grand Cayman is the home of the only Turtle Farm in the world (with tours). Two of the big areas that cruisers normally go to when in the Caymans are “Stingray City” where they can swim with the stingrays. The second is a “Trip to Hell”, that’s right, there is a town called Hell on Grand Cayman that is part of quite a few of the siteseeing tours. Of course there is great shopping, scuba diving and snorkeling among other activities to choose from.

Cozumel: Lets go swimming with the dolphins, cruise the waters in a glass bottom boat or submarine or just snorkel in the clear waters, or just bake in the sun. For those that like land, how about exploring the Mayan ruins on the island. Of course there are many, many other activities available from walking tours to 4 wheeling, just let your imagination take over.

Jamaica: Now we are talking rum, pirates, steel drums and all that you can think of that is Jamaica man. Of course there are trips into the jungle on the island, great shopping, plenty of sight seeing tours and adventures available include Jip-line Jungle Canopy Tour, ATV advantures, Dunns River Expedition or maybe a horseback ride in the surf is more your speed.  Its all here in Jamaica.

Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to impose a fuel supplement on all guests if the price of West Texas Intermediate fuel exceeds $65.00 per barrel. The fuel supplement for 1st and 2nd guests would be no more than $10 per guest per day, to a maximum of $140 per cruise; and for additional guests would be no more than $5 per person per day, to a maximum of $70 per cruise.
